Itinerary

There is no better feeling than finishing work on a Friday and knowing you have an awesome weekend ahead! Join us anytime after 7:00pm at Port Hamble Marina, in time for sunset drinks – if the UK weather permits – and dinner in the marina. Friday night is purely about getting to know your crewmates and socialising as we won’t set off until Saturday morning, but we’ll stay on the boats this evening.
We start the day sailing the Solent south to discover some of the real gems of the Solent including Beaulieu River. This is one of the best parts of the world for sailing, you get to experience being at the helm of a yacht, and actively participating in sailing the boat. Alternatively if you just want to sit back and relax and enjoy the ride and meeting new friends you can do absolutely nothing! A beach BBQ is planned this evening and some afternoon swimming in the shallows of the bay.
On Sunday morning we’ll sail around the south side of the Isle of Wight, exploring beautiful Sandown Bay and Bembridge Harbour. We’ll have the option of an afternoon’s SUP experience if you fancy it (though not compulsory!) before reaching the capital of sailing, Cowes. We’ll settle down here for a night of fun and dancing on tables up the Cowes marina at the Folly Inn.
We’ll start day 3 with a westward sail towards Chichester. Breaking the day into two parts, we’ll anchor for lunch in the beautiful West Wittering, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Then spending the afternoon sailing the Eastern Solent, we’ll pass between the iconic Solent Forts on our way back to port. Arriving back to Hamble Point for 5 p.m.

It might be in the name, but we’re not all about the Med! Every year we do at least one UK sailing trip to the UK. This year we’ll be exploring the magnificent Jurassic coastline, passing the Isle of Wight, taking the incredible scenery and stopping to explore some of the most iconic sites of Southern England.

Getting There/Away

Driving from London to get to Port Hamble takes 1 hour 55 minutes or train is 1 hour 59 minutes from London Waterloo to Hamble station. From the station you can get a taxi to the marina, it’s just 5 minute taxi ride. There will be a number of people driving down , so get in contact with us and we’ll partner you up with someone if you would like a lift.
