7 days and 7 nights that you will not forget in a hurry

Day 1

We begin our epic adventure in the port of Sibenik. About1 hour north of Split airport, Sibenik is famed for its waterfalls, stunning woodlands and vineyards. We made a short sail down the coast heading for the picturesque town of Primosten. We will pass an array of islands as we leave the confined waters of Sibenik passing the famed St. Nicholas Fort.

Bustling in high season Primosten is a magic town of cobbled streets that has lost none of its old world charm. Chic restaurants, bars and ice cream palours. And a winery where we can learn from the young owner whilst tasting different produce, about what happens when your grandma defies the local police to make wine.

Day 2

After a morning swim and water’s edge coffee at one of the many cafes, we sail south hugging the spectacular coastline. Passing Rogoznicko and some other famed resort towns where landlubbers will look out to sea with envious eyes as you sail past. Our greatest problem today is deciding which of an endless litany of beaches and bays is best for our lunch stop.

Evening sees us arrive in the town of Trogir. Voted one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean is like a smaller version of Split. With its UNESCO listed Castle and bridge, all the delights of Trogir at night will be only minutes walk away.

Day 3

We prepare for some fantastic open water sailing on our 3rd day as we head towards the famous island of Hvar – Jewel in the crown of the Dalmatian coast. Colours collide as we pass lush green islands that descend into the blue sea. We sail pass the island of Solta, where we will stop in a impossibly clear blue lagoon for lunch and a snorkel.

The excitement builds as we sail towards Hula Hula bar, anchoring off and enjoying an afternoon swim. Hvar has something for everyone including the impressive Fortress which stands proudly above Hvar town. The ladies will love to dress to impress here, and an evening partying in Hvar town has seen the downfall of many fine men.

Day 4

Day 4 will probably see a few people a little worse for wear. A stay in Hvar tends to do that to you. We have a late start today and a secret location only 15 mins from Hvar will find us amongst some spectacular scenery for a swim and lunch. Wile the afternoon away as recover from the night before. Late afternoon sees us take a short sail to the isolated island of Secedro.

Largely untouched by tourism, we anchor in a shallow bay and have dinner under the stars at the only restaurant on the island. Here in turquoise waters you will see enormous Croatian abalone shells growing from the shallow sea floor. Tonight with no public lighting on the island, you will disocver nothing interrupts your view of the stars in the sky.

Day 5

Day 5 sees us sail towards the island of Korcula. Perfect waters for sailing and an opportunity for us to visit a Vineyard along the way. By evening we will have reached Korcula town which is one of the highlights of the trip. Postcard perfect Korcula town is where we anchor in a deep natural harbour and take a local ferry ashore.

Here there is an array of culinary delights and cobbled streets to contend with. Korcula town is a truly stunning place. Make sure you sample the delights of some of the produce from Korcula and take the time to send a postcard from one of our favourite places in the Med.

Day 6

We leave Korcula town and navigate waters just deep enough for our yachts not to touch the bottom. You will be able to see the bottom as we weave between small islands on our way to the lush green pine clad island of Mljet. Part of the national park, we will discover new inlets to have lunch before continuing onto a very special place called Prozurska, that we discovered way back in 2010 totally by accident.

An isolated restaurant where Bono sometimes dines protected by a number of small islands. Hopefully their pet Grouper fish will have returned to his pen from his night hunting for us to marvel at.

Our final day sees us awake and after a quick morning swim on Otok Lokrum , we motor north up the Rijeka Dubrovnik fjord arriving at Marina ACI for your departure.
