Itinerary

Beginning this amazing Croatia week in Sukosan – just 15 mins from Zadar airport and 1.25 hours from Split airport
Sukosan is a wonderful new marina with a trendy beach club, bar and swim pontoons built into the Adriatic Sea. Drop your bags, check out the yachts, relax and enjoy a drink. In high season, there is sure to be an amazing vibe here. Welcome drink on arrival for everyone Unwind grab a sunbed and relax as you think about the week ahead.

Starting on Sunday morning, we set sail from Sukosan sailing south along the coast passing Biograd and the island of Kraj. Pine clad forest surround us and crystal clear turquoise waters, disturbed only by passing yachts and fishing boats. This is a magical journey passing close to numerous small islands where we can stop and swim throughout the day.
We finish our 2nd day arriving at the small and picturesque town of Tribunj. Apres sailling drinks on the yachts and a very short walk (20m) to the bars and restaurants.

For the energetic amongst you, we can organise speed boat hire and associated skis and wake boards, should you wish. Just make sure you have health insurance!
In the afternoon we sail south through not less than 12 islands before reaching one of the beautiful towns on the Croatian coast. Bustling in summer with a cobbled streets and water’s edge bars and restaurant, Primosten has managed to maintain all of its old world charm. Enjoy an evening of wine tasting at a special restaurant in the old part of town.

Day 4 will begin with a morning swim, followed by us sailing north towards the island of Kornat. We should enjoy excellent sailing heading from the mainland across to Kornat and depending on conditions we make even enjoy our legendary swim at sea (just don’t look at the Depth gauge).

Lunch location will depend on progress and as we sail along the barren landscape of the island of Kornat, take the time to relax and admire the contrasting beauty of the islands. Tonight we’ll lie at anchor in a stunning natural harbour. Dinghy ashore to explore and take advantage of the incredible photos opportunities.

We awake anchored within the confines of the Natural park and can make a visit ashore to the inland salt water lake which will refresh and revive.

Weaving around the stunning Kornati islands as we make our way to Dugi Otok, this place has long been associated as an oasis of peace. Invoking a sense of calm and relaxation to all those who visit, this place is pure paradise.

Day 6 sees us sail north along Dugi Otok towards the most stunning beach in the Kornati island chain (Sakarun). Wonderful shallow and electric blue in colour, we will moor here for our last night and attempt to exhaust all supplies before our final day.

See from the hillside above the bay, the sea in Sakarun is an intense turquoise-blue, more akin to the Caribbean than the Adriatic. Sakarun beach is rimmed by an 800-metre arch of smooth white stone, which in turn is backed by lush green pinewoods. Even 350m from shore the depth here is just 3.5m allowing endless snorkelling opportunities.

Our final day onboard will involve a comfortable downwind sail weaving our way between 8 different islands as we sail back towards our starting location (Sukosan). We will stop by the famous city of Zadar, take a swim anchored near the outer sea wall and look at the famous Sea organs which are powered by the waves. We stay our final night onboard the yacht and we will enjoy the final dinner and drinks at D-Marin beach club.
