Greek Islands Food

We listened to feedback from previous Trips and we know how awful shopping can be in a foreign country when its 35C and you have to drag a week’s worth of provisions back to a marina.

So we are taking all the pain away for you! We’ve organised food, drinks and snacks for each crew including breakfasts, lunches, nibbles throughout the day and alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. And yes, we know people have different tastes so we’ve included a wide variety of things to keep everyone happy – you may find yourself consuming more Feta cheese to offset your dislike of olives, etc.

Your crew will still need to undertake some small shopping excursions during the week for fresh supplies like milk, croissants, fresh fruit etc. Any specialities that you may prefer which will be added into the boat kitty to be settled at the end of the week between the crew (along with any mooring fees).

So don’t fear – this is a starter pack to save you a painful afternoon shopping in a greek supermarket.

Dinner will tend to be eaten ashore (we have some great restaurants lined up for you) but there will be some food as well if you wish to cook on the boat one night.

We’ll have hundreds of litres of bottled drinking water and all the good basics and for all boats. To include things like the following, from a typical example of previous years

  • water
  • juice
  • cereal
  • tea
  • coffee
  • bacon
  • eggs
  • cheese
  • tomatoes
  • fresh fruit
  • snacks, crisps
  • chocolate
  • beer
  • wine
  • cider
  • fresh ingredients for a pasta or rice meal

For lunches there are various local cured meats, olives, cheeses, pickles and various antipasti, which is the best way to do a lunch under the hot sun of the Med!

We need you to pay the small amount of £43 for food provisions for the week, please pay via the link below:
