Some people have reported issues with not receiving our WhatsApp messages or seeing
“Waiting for message… this may take a while.”
If this happens, it’s usually easy to fix. Please check the following:
1️⃣ Update WhatsApp
Make sure you are using the latest version of WhatsApp.
You can update it here:
• iPhone – App Store
• Android – Google Play Store
2️⃣ If you changed your phone or device
If you recently switched phones, or you are using WhatsApp on a computer, tablet, or WhatsApp Web, try:
• Logging out of WhatsApp on that device
• Logging back in again
This often refreshes the connection and messages should appear.
3️⃣ Update your device software
Please also check that your phone or computer software is up to date (iOS, Android for phones, Windows, or macOS for laptops).
Older versions can sometimes cause message delays.
